Can’t believe it’s Friday again! I’ve had a great week this week, although I’ve been busy. Work, work and more work! Thankfully I love my job so it doesn’t feel like work… even when I’m at work after 8pm!

I’m loving Dunia’s stuff! Here’s another layout using her fun kit, ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun’. It’s not my usual style, but it holds an important memory! Having said that, it was featured on the Gallery Standout Blog so I was over the moon! Made my day =) Thank you!

I’ve only been back a week since travelling for 3 weeks and I am exhausted! I am so tired all day and then wide awake at night! Can’t sleep. I would love to be using more of Rachel’s kits from Captivated Visions as they are divine, but I’m so tired I can’t get the energy! Even so, I did make the following layout yesterday using her new mini kit, ‘Home is Where the Heart Is’ and a template for her set ‘Captivated by Melissa – Layered Templates’. To be honest, I don’t even think I’m finished yet, I may tweak it a bit more at the weekend!

Funky Layout Friday!

Here are my latest layouts! I’m a guest on Dunia Designs Creative Team for November and December so I get to play with some extra goodies =)

My first layout is using a fab Christmas kit by Captivated Visions called ‘Jolly Holiday’ and featuring my all-time favourite drink, the Starbucks Gingerbread Latte. Yummy!

Next is my first layout using Dunia’s collab kit, “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” and I made the layout without a photo and didn’t even realize it until I had finished! Fun!

That’s pretty much it for this week. I’ve been travelling around France and the UK for 3 weeks with 120 of my students from Hong Kong, so scrapbooking has been somewhat left unattended to =) I’m back home in Hong Kong now and SERIOUSLY jet-lagged, so hopefully in a few days I’ll be back on my feet.

Here’s one layout using a layered template from Captivated Visions’ set entitled Inspired by Stephanie. The kit I used is Lil Spooks from SuzyQScraps.

Photoshop Layered Template 4

A while ago I made a layout about my brand new iPhone 3GS! A few people asked me about it getting made as a template, so I decided to make it into a Photoshop layered template. It will work in Photoshop, Photoshop Elements and possibly even Photo Impact (thanks to Carole N. for the tip!).

It is 300dpi, 12×12, .psd file etc.

I love the look of handcut paper and so love this style of template! Hope you enjoy using it as much as I did making it.

Here is the original layout I made using the template. I used a kit by Captivated Visions called “Pink Lemonade”. I also used CK Becky for the title and Cochin for the journalling. In the template I’ve used more generic fonts as most people won’t have the fonts I used.

Resistance is Futile! That pretty much sums up me getting an iPhone! It was inevitable and I basically caved in a few weeks ago!

Here is the layout I did for my jump into the world of the iPhone!

My Art

I love my art. There are no two ways about it – I love it! And when I say “My Art” I’m not talking about the things I personally paint – don’t think I would actually consider that art… yet! But I’m talking about the art I have chosen to hang on my walls – one in my hallway as you walk in the front door and one in the living room above my couch. The colours of the paintings work, the design is just me, and they are HUGE!

I had an idea of what I wanted (while I left my walls bare for a year!). I had originally decided to do it myself, but just never got around to it. My dad went to China (I live in Hong Kong) and while he was there he saw a few paintings that he liked and thought one of us kids would like for our homes. When he got back to HK I didn’t think anything he had chosen would be close to what I had in mind – but unbelievably they were EXACTLY what I wanted! Colours, style, size – everything!

Now I know they are not everyone’s taste, but they are just perfect for me and I can’t get over how perfect they are and how my dad bought them for me sight unseen.

So, as every scrapbooker does (or should do =) – we scrapbook the things we love – and I love my art! So here’s my layout on my living room painting. Love it! (did I mention that yet *lol*).
