I can’t believe that Valentine’s Day is just around the corner! In preparation for the big day, I’ve made a few cards that I’m sure you’ll enjoy giving away!

They are the usual high quality 300dpi and are all jpeg files. Each card measures 3.5 x 5 inches and can be resized if you would prefer smaller cards.

Now, I originally had wanted to do a full kit myself for you all, but life got in the way. Infact, I am presently sitting on my bed in a room in London with 120 students from Hong Kong that we have come over with for a 3-week Study Tour that has included France (Normandy and Paris) and the UK (London, Ashford, Oxford, Canterbury etc.). I have spent the last four nights in a different hotel each night and I’m exhausted. So, to cut a long story short, I only had time to do a little something for the blog hop. I ADORE the spotted glitter papers and hope you enjoy them too! I’ve also included a little glitter scatter, which is always good, and a few other little things. Here is the preview for my part!

Doodled Borders – Set 3 *freebie* {CU}

Now the blog train is over, things seem to have settled down and I’m back into my routine. While creating my full kit, I made these doodled borders. As there were too many of them, I decided to package up the left overs and create a freebie with them. So here they are… 3 hand doodled borders that have been created at 300dpi , approx. 12×12 inches and they are all .png files.

The Blog Train Has Arrived!

Welcome to the Scrap Scrap Scrap Blog Train! All the participating designers have recently been certified as JessicaSprague.com Certified Digital Designers. We are celebrating our new status by giving away mini-kits on a subject we all love – scrapbooking! Here’s what you need to know:

I LOVED Jessica’s class and couldn’t recommend it more. Before the class I dabbled in design, but I couldn’t see my way through to actually completing a kit. Now, I don’t know why I ever had any problems finishing a kit – I have so many ideas I have to restrain myself =) So, here is my very first mini-kit, “Scrap n Stuff” using one of my all-time favourite colours schemes!

In this kit are 5 papers and 7 unique elements – NO CU PRODUCTS USED! I LOVE doodles and so, as you can see, most of my elements have a doodley style to them – hope you like them!

So…. here’s the sneak peek preview =) The full kit will have 15 papers and 20 elements 20 papers and 30 unique elements in it (I couldn’t stop!) and, like the mini-kit, will be made using no CU items to ensure everything is super duper unique. This is a sneak peek of just a little bit of the kit! I don’t want to give too much away just yet!

Photoshop Layered Template 5 *freebie* {CU}

Hi everyone!

This time I am really, really, really hoping that my download is OK! Since moving my blog from my old server to my new server I have had huge headaches with getting my downloads to work. Today, I am almost positive (almost!) that they are all working. I have finally figured out the main problem and fixed it, but needed to then go through all my freebies and reset the download link for each one individually. It’s taken ages, but I think it means we’re in business! WOOT!

So hear we go, a clean and simple page template. If you have a minute, please let me know in the comments if the download worked AND if you were able to successfully extract/unzip the files. Thank you!!!!

And onto the freebie – it’s a layered Photoshop template and will work in any editing program that recognizes Photoshop files e.g. Elements, GIMP. It’s 12×12, 300dpi etc. and should make everyone’s life easier when it comes to starting a new page!

Chalk Arrows *freebie* {CU}

I’m BACK! Woot!!!!

Transferring my blog has been worse than pulling teeth, but it’s done (well, almost done!) and I think I can post freebies again. So, here is a freebie I’ve been holding back because my last host wouldn’t allow me to post anything larger than 15mb. It’s a set of chalk arrows. Included is the following:

  • 11 chalk arrows saved individually (.png)
  • All arrows on one sheet (.png)
  • Photoshop brush file

They are all saved in black but are easy to recolour if you would like!

PhotoBoard 2 *Freebie* {CU}

Another PhotoBoard template! These may be simple, but they are super versatile and can be used on your blog or on your scrapbook layouts!

This template is US Letter size and has space for 6 photos. It comes as a Photoshop layered file with optional shadows. You also get the .png files in both 72 dpi (for web) and 300dpi (for print) with and without shadows.

Date Sticks Freebie {CU} Eng & French!

I don’t speak French! (well, except for the 5 years I did when I was in secondary school! *lol*), but I figured how hard could it be to do my date sticks in English AND *drumroll*… FRENCH! So, I gave it a go and… ‘voila’…. out came a set in French (most of which I actually remembered! Woot!).

SO… today’s freebie is a set of date sticks in English and French (if the French is wrong, please let me know and I’ll change it!).

You get the following:

  • 13 date sticks (I’ve given a Feb with 28 days and a Feb with 29 days for leap years).
  • 6 assorted date markers
  • Each date stick is 10.5 inches tall
  • Everything is 300dpi, .png files, no drop shadows

I had originally planned to offer both in one download, but the downloads were too big and so I’m letting you choose which version you would like to download, the English or the French (or both!).

Doodled Scribbled Alphabet *freebie* {CU}

Doodled Alphabet Freebie

There’s a story behind all my freebies! Here’s the story behind my doodled alphabet.

I did a layout a while back and couldn’t find a doodled alphabet I liked, so I decided to do the title myself. I loved the way it turned out and had a few people ask me where I got the alpha from! So was born the idea of creating an entire doodled alphabet.

All went well until I realized that the letters I has made for this alpha were nothing like the original ones, and I liked the original ones better. Then, after re-doing it all, I realized I had forgotten to expand my selection before scribbling inside each letter – so, if you get a huge magnifying glass, you will see a teeny, tiny space between the scribbles and the outline of each letter. This annoyed me so much that I gave up!

As always happens, I was once again looking for a handmade doodled alpha for a layout I was doing and thought back to this one. After taking 5 minutes to find it on my computer, I realized that it’s actually quite cute, and seriously, no one will notice that itty bitty bit of white space (well, you will now I’ve mentioned it *lol*!). So, it’s out as a freebie for you to play with. No numbers….sorry (I hate when designers don’t include numbers *grin*) – I’ll see if I can get some done to match.

Specs: all .png files, packaged individually and as a whole sheet, 300dpi, A-Z uppercase letters, punctuation and a few fun doodles thrown in just because they’re fun. Besides, does anyone need a reason for extra doodles =)

PhotoBoard Template 2 *Freebie* {CU} {S4H}

PhotoBoard 3

On Monday I made a post about Guernsey and the stunning coastlines that surround this amazing channel island. I used a PhotoBoard and decided to make it into a template incase you want to use it on your own web or in a scrapbook layout.

It is 12×12 inches in size and is a Photoshop file with clipping masks and an optional shadow layer to make it super fast to use.

I’ve also included WEB (72dpi) and PRINT (300dpi) .png versions (holes for photos) with and without shadows.
